COS Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy outlines the rules and responsibilities related to shipment of items on Cycle of Samsara. By using our platform, you agree to adhere to these terms when buying or selling on COS.

1. Prepaid Shipping (COS Label)

COS offers Prepaid Shipping Labels through trusted logistics partners across India.

When Sellers Use COS Prepaid Shipping:

  • A prepaid label will be auto-generated when an item is sold.
  • Sellers must dispatch the item within 5 business days of sale confirmation.
  • Shipping must follow our Packaging Guidelines and Prohibited Items Policy.

Failure to Dispatch on Time

If an item is not shipped within 5 days:

  • The order will be cancelled, and
  • The buyer will receive a full refund automatically.

2. Shipping Charges

  • Shipping costs depend on item weight, size, destination, and delivery partner.
  • Charges are calculated automatically and shown during checkout.
  • Buyers see the full cost upfront.

3. Delivery and Tracking

  • COS provides parcel tracking using real-time data from our courier partners.
  • COS is not liable for delays, errors, or lack of tracking updates due to third-party couriers.
  • Couriers may change from time to time without prior notice.

4. Buyer & Seller Responsibilities

Sellers Must:

  • Ship only listed, approved items using the correct label.
  • Package securely, tamper-proof, and as per COS Packaging Guidelines.
  • Ensure the parcel is scanned by the courier within the dispatch window.

Buyers Must:

  • Ensure correct delivery address and contact details.
  • Track their parcel and accept delivery on the first attempt.

5. If a Parcel is Lost or Damaged (COS Prepaid Shipping)

Buyers: Will be fully refunded under Buyer Protection if the parcel is lost or damaged during transit.

Sellers:

  • May be compensated depending on the courier T&Cs and item value.
  • Must raise a claim before transaction completion.

Note: All courier data will be considered final unless proven otherwise.

6. Non-Prepaid Shipping (Seller-arranged Courier)

  • Sellers bear full responsibility for loss, delay, or damage.
  • COS will not provide a refund, protection, or courier support.
  • Sellers must resolve disputes directly with the logistics provider.

7. Delivery Timelines

  • Standard deliveries typically arrive within 5–10 working days.
  • Delays may occur due to weather, high volume, or remote locations.
